National Arts Council and ConversAsians
Practising Arts Professionals (i.e. producers, presenters, artists, arts administrators, arts managers) registering for ConversAsians may apply for financial support from the National Arts Council. Each successful applicant will be awarded with a grant of $300.
About the Grant:
Successful applicants are required to submit a post-event evaluation report within two months from the end of the event. Upon receipt of the report, NAC will reimburse the grant to the applicant.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the support, applicants must
- Register for the 4-day programme (26 – 29 May)
- Be Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents, who are actively engaged in the arts industry and recognised by their peers as practicing arts professionals.
- Be Independent arts professionals or employed with an arts organization. No more than 3 arts professionals from the same arts organization are eligible for this grant.
- Demonstrate a strong track record and show professional commitment to the local scene.
Note : Arts students and art lectures/tutors under the auspices of schools and tertiary institutions are not eligible for this subsidy.

After registering with ConversAsians, applicants can apply to NAC. Please download this form. Applications must reach NAC by 23 April 2010 (Friday). Applicants will be notified by 15 May 2010 of the outcome by mail.
